Common questions
The prayer times differ from my mosque
Times follow the calculation method used in your country, shown in Settings › Calculation method. Asr can be set to Shafi'i or Hanafi in Settings. Mosques sometimes add a few minutes of their own, so check them against yours.
The times are for the wrong place
Rak'ah uses your phone's location. If location is off, or you'd rather not share it, choose a city in Settings › Location.
The watch counted the wrong number of rak'ahs
Counting reads your wrist's movement, so it can miss or add one, especially if your arm rests at an unusual angle. Use + and − on the counting screen to correct it before you finish. Fard prayers stop counting by themselves at their number of rak'ahs.
The qibla direction looks wrong
Phone and watch compasses are easily thrown off by metal, magnets and cases. Hold the device flat, away from metal, and move it in a figure of eight to recalibrate. Treat it as a guide, not a ruling.
I don't see the countdown on my Lock Screen
Open Rak'ah once; the next prayer then appears as a Live Activity. Make sure Live Activities are allowed for Rak'ah in the iPhone's Settings.
How do I delete my prayer history?
In Rak'ah, go to Settings › Account › Delete my prayer history. Everything stored for you is removed at once. See the privacy policy.
